Helena Long is sadly leaving Rogue after being hooked up by another board company. She has been a great advocate for the team over the last 6 years – setting the standards for women, inspiring younger girls to have a go at skating and at the same time making everything look good fun.
Helena first appeared on the scene at the Girl Skate Jam UK in 2006. A face previously unknown on the comp circuit she had mysteriously seemed to come from nowhere. On that day she landed a huge technical array of tricks, including her trademark blunt to fakies – which saw her run away with the under 18′s title (see above pic). One of the highlights of having Helena on the team was when she designed her first signature board for the team in 2010, the Long Legz deck.
We wish her all the best with her new team and thank her for being part of Rogue for the last 6 years. Cheers Helena!
